Rapper and Social Media Influencer Lucas Coly Passes Away at 27


Lucas Coly, the renowned rapper and social media star, has tragically passed away at the age of 27. His manager announced the heartbreaking news on Instagram on October 3, expressing profound grief: “Rest in peace @iamlucascoly. I love you bro. My heart is ripped in half. Wait for me up there 🙏.”


In a series of emotional posts, Coly’s manager shared his devastation, stating, “There’s a hole in my heart right now, Lucas. We often spoke about our struggles but always put on a smile for our fans. I can’t believe you’re gone.” He urged fans to cherish their loved ones, adding, “Honestly, it hasn’t set in yet because I refuse to believe you are gone. Heart ripped to shreds.”


Hours before his passing, Coly shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram Story, saying, “I love y’all” alongside an orange heart emoji. The cause of his death has not been publicly disclosed.


Coly’s manager also called for prayers for Coly’s girlfriend, Amber, mentioning that he was on the phone with the rapper just moments before the tragedy. “He loved all of his fans. This year has been the worst of my life. Lucas was more than a client; he was a brother to me,” he wrote. Amber is expected to share more details when she feels ready.


Born in France and moving to the United States at the age of eight, Coly gained fame through his engaging Vine content a decade ago. He was particularly known for his hit song “I Just Wanna.” In past interviews, Coly revealed his fluency in French and how he often blended it into his music.
