Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing serious allegations in a lawsuit filed in California by Ashley Parham, who claims that he raped her as retaliation for her comments suggesting he was involved in the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur. The lawsuit, which includes accusations of sexual assault, battery, false imprisonment, and kidnapping, details a disturbing encounter that allegedly took place in March 2018.
According to the lawsuit, Parham first crossed paths with Combs after meeting one of his friends at a bar. During a video call with Combs, she expressed her belief that he had a role in Tupac's murder, which led Combs to overhear her comment. He reportedly warned her that she would "pay" for her accusation. About a month later, she was invited to the friend's home, where Combs allegedly appeared unexpectedly.
Parham claims that during this encounter, Combs threatened her with a knife, stating he would give her a "Glasgow smile" as punishment for her previous remarks. The lawsuit alleges that he then proceeded to sexually assault her violently, using a television remote control, and that she was raped by multiple individuals during the ordeal .
Following the alleged assault, Parham attempted to escape and sought help from neighbors, who had already contacted the police due to the disturbance. She reported the incident to the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department, claiming she had been gang-raped, but no further action was taken at that time. It wasn't until three weeks later, after visiting a hospital, that police were notified again, yet her reports did not lead to an investigation.
Parham is now suing Combs and several unnamed associates, demanding a jury trial. This lawsuit is part of a broader pattern of allegations against Combs, with multiple claims of sexual assault and abuse surfacing in recent months .
While Combs has not publicly responded to this specific lawsuit, he has consistently denied all allegations of sexual assault. His legal team has characterized many of the claims against him as attempts to exploit his fame for financial gain.
Currently, Combs is detained in New York, awaiting trial on federal charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking, with his next court date set for May 2025.The situation continues to evolve, with Combs' lawyers seeking to identify his accusers, arguing that the anonymity of the allegations has harmed his reputation and could jeopardize his right to a fair trial.
