Oasis Announces Highly Anticipated World Tour for 2025: US, Canada, and Mexico Dates Confirmed

In an exciting development for fans, Oasis has officially revealed their world tour schedule, set to hit the US, Canada, and Mexico in August and September 2025. This announcement follows the Gallagher brothers' cryptic billboard campaign that warned, “Be careful what you wish for,” captivating fans in cities like New York, Toronto, and Chicago.

The tour will kick off in Toronto at Rogers Stadium on August 24, followed by a performance at Soldier Field in Chicago on August 28. Other key dates include New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on August 31, Los Angeles' Rose Bowl on September 6, and Mexico City's Estadio GNP Seguros on September 12. Supporting them throughout the tour will be US rock band Cage the Elephant.

This marks Oasis's first tour in North America since their 2008 outing for Dig Out Your Soul. Their infamous 1994-95 American tour for Definitely Maybe is still remembered for a chaotic show at Whisky a Go Go, where Noel Gallagher's brief departure from the band made headlines.

The upcoming international dates add to the 19 sold-out shows already announced in the UK and Ireland, which saw overwhelming demand leading to additional dates being added, including two new shows at Wembley Stadium. After the initial ticket sales faced technical difficulties, the band opted for a staggered invitation-only ballot for those who missed out.

However, concerns have arisen regarding Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing policy, which saw some ticket prices surge significantly. While Oasis stated they were unaware of these pricing strategies, they have acknowledged the overwhelming interest in the tour. The band emphasized that ticket pricing decisions are made by their promoters and management, not by Oasis themselves.

Consumer group Which? has called for refunds for fans who encountered inflated prices, while Liam Gallagher responded defiantly to critics on social media. As anticipation builds for this monumental reunion, fans eagerly await their chance to see Oasis back in action.
