Dolphins' Calamity Deepens as Skylar Thompson Exits with Injury in 24-3 Loss to Seahawks

Miami Dolphins Suffer Another Setback in a 24-3 defeat against the Seattle Seahawks, with quarterback Skylar Thompson Exits with Chest Injury in Loss to Seahawks. Making his first start of the season in place of the injured Tua Tagovailoa, Thompson completed 13 of 19 passes for 107 yards before sustaining the injury in the second half.

Third-string QB Tim Boyle stepped in to finish the game, but Miami's offense struggled significantly, converting just one of 12 third downs and managing only three points.

Defensively, the Dolphins faltered, allowing the Seahawks to gain 223 total yards in the first half and committing 11 penalties that hampered their performance.

In addition to Thompson’s injury, the Dolphins also lost cornerback Kendall Fuller to a concussion and left tackle Terron Armstead due to an eye injury. With Tagovailoa on injured reserve, the team’s quarterback situation is precarious as they look ahead.

Coach Mike McDaniel emphasized the need for improvement and discipline as Miami prepares for their upcoming games. Despite the rough start to the season, the schedule ahead offers a chance for recovery once their key players return.
