McDonald's Introduces Chicken Big Mac: A New Take on a Classic

Get ready for a fresh twist on a beloved favorite—McDonald's is set to launch the Chicken Big Mac on October 10. Unlike the recently returned Double Big Mac, this new offering features two tempura-battered chicken patties instead of the traditional beef.

The Chicken Big Mac has already been tested in international markets, including the U.K., and made a brief appearance in Miami in 2022. It retains the classic Big Mac toppings: the signature bun, Big Mac sauce, cheese, lettuce, and pickles.

Last weekend, the sandwich surprised attendees at a pop-up dining event in Los Angeles, disguised under the name "McDonnell's." Guests were unaware that the menu featured McDonald's creations, although many recognized the familiar ingredients.

To promote the Chicken Big Mac, McDonald's is collaborating with online streamer Kai Cenat, a self-proclaimed "Big Mac superfan." Their campaign, titled “Is the Chicken Big Mac a Big Mac?”, will include live appearances on McDonald's social media platforms, such as Instagram.
