Matthew Stafford Sparks Rams' Dramatic Comeback Against 49ers

Matthew Stafford Leads Rams to Stunning Comeback Victory Over 49ers! The Los Angeles Rams stunned the San Francisco 49ers with a thrilling 27-24 victory at SoFi Stadium on Sunday. After trailing 21-7 early in the second half, Stafford orchestrated a remarkable comeback, leading the Rams to 13 unanswered points.

Brock Purdy had a strong showing for the 49ers, throwing for 292 yards and three touchdowns, including a standout performance from Jauan Jennings, who caught three TDs for 175 yards. However, the absence of stars Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle proved costly for San Francisco.

The Rams rallied in the second half, with running back Kyren Williams scoring two touchdowns, including a critical 3-yard run that brought them closer. After both teams traded field goals, Stafford connected with Tutu Atwell for a key 50-yard play, leading to another Williams touchdown that tied the game.

With the momentum swinging, Stafford drew a crucial pass interference penalty that set up Joshua Karty's game-winning 37-yard field goal, marking the first of his career. Stafford finished with 221 yards and a touchdown, while Williams totaled 89 rushing yards and two TDs.

The Rams secured their first win of the season, improving to 1-2, while the 49ers dropped to the same record, now facing the challenge of bouncing back against the New England Patriots next week.
