The Detroit Lions delivered a commanding performance against the Tennessee Titans, winning 52-14 and extending their winning streak to five games, bringing their record to 6-1. The victory featured contributions from six different players who scored touchdowns, underscoring a strong effort across all phases of the game—offense, defense, and special teams.

The game began with an impressive defensive play, as Levi Onwuzurike’s pressure led to a crucial interception by linebacker Trevor Nowaske. Starting from the Titans' 31-yard line, the Lions capitalized quickly, with running back David Montgomery scoring from seven yards out to put Detroit ahead 7-0. The Titans responded with a rapid 75-yard drive, capped by Mason Rudolph's first career rushing touchdown, leveling the score at 7-7.

In a thrilling exchange, Jahmyr Gibbs put the Lions back on top with a spectacular 70-yard touchdown run, making him the first Lions player since 1934 to record rushing touchdowns of over 45 yards in consecutive games. Despite Tennessee tying the game again at 14-14 with a touchdown pass, Detroit quickly answered. A 72-yard kickoff return by Khalil Dorsey set up a short scoring drive, culminating in a touchdown pass from Jared Goff to Brock Wright.

The Lions continued to exert their dominance with an interception by Kerby Joseph, which set up another quick score as Goff found Amon-Ra St. Brown in the end zone. Montgomery then showcased his versatility by throwing a touchdown pass to tight end Sam LaPorta, ending a high-scoring first half with the Lions leading 35-14.

This marked Detroit's highest first-half point total since 1970 and included a historic five different players scoring touchdowns.

Detroit’s onslaught continued into the second half, with Kalif Raymond returning a punt 90 yards for a touchdown, further extending the lead to 49-14. Goff connected with Raymond again for a 7-yard touchdown, showcasing the Lions' explosive offensive capabilities.

Raymond's performance, which included both a punt return touchdown and a receiving touchdown, made him the first player in franchise history to achieve this feat in a single game.

Overall, the Lions' 52 points tied for the second-most in franchise history, and they’ve scored an impressive 172 points and 22 touchdowns over their last four games—setting a record for the most points in any four-game span in a single season. With Goff completing 12 of 15 passes for 85 yards and three touchdowns, the victory not only highlighted the team's collective strength but also solidified their status as serious contenders in the league this season.
