During the second call, the receptionist reiterated the need for immediate assistance, expressing concern that the guest's life "may be in danger" due to the presence of a balcony. The call handler asked for details, and the receptionist emphasized the urgency, stating that they required help quickly.
Emergency medical services and local authorities were dispatched to the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, where Payne was staying. Unfortunately, he fell from the balcony shortly after the officers arrived.
