No. 25 Texas A&M celebrated its biggest win over a top-10 team in program history, dominating No. 9 Missouri 41-10 on Saturday. The Aggies took advantage of comments made by Tigers quarterback Brady Cook, who had downplayed the challenge of playing at Kyle Field.

Aggies head coach Mike Elko smiled as he noted the motivation the comments provided. Defensive end Nic Scourton said the remarks lit a fire under the team. A&M led 24-0 at halftime, and running back Le'Veon Moss added to the score with a 75-yard touchdown run on the first play of the second half. Moss finished with a career-high 138 yards and three touchdowns.

Cook struggled against the Aggies’ defense, completing 13 of 31 passes for 186 yards while facing constant pressure. Meanwhile, quarterback Conner Weigman, returning from injury, excelled with 18 completions on 22 attempts for 276 yards. Elko defended Weigman against media criticism, emphasizing his competitive spirit.

With the victory, the Aggies improved to 5-1 and 3-0 in the SEC, showcasing their resilience after an early-season loss to Notre Dame. Elko stressed the importance of consistency as they move forward.
