The Tampa Bay Buccaneers secured a commanding 33-16 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week Four, improving their record to 3-1. Baker Mayfield shone with 30 completions on 47 attempts for 347 yards, throwing two touchdown passes and achieving a quarterback rating of 100.2.


The Buccaneers set the tone early, scoring on their first two drives. Rachaad White's strong plays helped lead to Mike Evans' 2-yard touchdown, followed by a 15-yard touchdown pass from Mayfield to Trey Palmer, putting the Bucs ahead 14-0. Mayfield later added a 1-yard rushing touchdown, extending the lead to 21-0.


The Eagles managed to respond with a touchdown from Jalen Hurts to Parris Campbell, making it 24-7 before halftime. After the break, the Eagles narrowed the gap with a touchdown run from Hurts, but the Bucs answered back with a touchdown from Bucky Irving, making it 30-16.


The Bucs’ defense remained relentless, sacking Hurts multiple times and forcing turnovers to secure the victory. Overall, it was a strong performance from both the offense and defense, showcasing Tampa Bay's potential this season.
