Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds was injured in a shooting incident in Denver early Friday morning. The team confirmed that Reynolds was a victim and treated for minor injuries, stating they would defer further comments to authorities out of respect for the legal process.

Police reports indicate that Reynolds and another man were found near South Quebec Street and East Union Avenue after receiving multiple 911 calls about the shooting. Reynolds was shot twice, once in the left arm and once in the back of his head, but was treated and released from a nearby hospital hours later.

At 29 years old, Reynolds is currently on injured reserve following finger surgery but has remained active in team activities. He did not travel with the Broncos for their game against the Saints on October 17 due to his injury status.

The shooting occurred after Reynolds and his companions left Shotgun Willie's, a strip club in Glendale, around 2:45 a.m. They reported being followed by multiple vehicles that opened fire on them. After their SUV became disabled on Interstate 25, Reynolds and the other man exited the vehicle, which was later found with multiple bullet holes.

Denver police have since arrested two suspects, Burr Charlesworth and Luis Mendoza, who are facing charges of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault.
