Apple App Store Faces Download Issues for iPhone, iPad, and Mac Users

Users on iPhone, iPad, and Mac are encountering difficulties when attempting to download apps from the App Store. When they tap the “Get” button, the app icon briefly swirls to indicate loading, but it quickly reverts back to “Get,” preventing installation.

Reports of these issues are increasing on social media, with several staff members at The Verge experiencing the same problem in both the US and Europe. According to DownDetector’s outage chart, the download issues appear to have begun around 11 AM ET.

While downloading new apps is problematic, users can still update apps that are already installed. Apple’s status page currently shows that App Store services are operating normally. The Verge has reached out to Apple for clarification on the situation but has not yet received a response.
