On Friday, Anne Hathaway shared an exciting video on her verified Instagram, lounging outside and holding up fingers in a playful nod to the original films. She quoted her younger self from the 2001 classic, saying, “A princess?! Shut up!” and then cut to Julie Andrews echoing the same line. Finally, Hathaway flashed three fingers and repeated it herself, signaling the announcement of "The Princess Diaries 3" in development at Disney, directed by Adele Lim.

“Miracles happen,” she captioned the post, adding “Back to Genovia” and “The fairy tale continues” with a heart emoji.

The original series follows Mia Thermopolis, played by Hathaway, who discovers she’s the heir to the throne of Genovia.
